In The Munchables, players are called upon to eat and defeat over 150 insidious enemies who have taken over the planet including Eggplanter, Space Shroom and Rice Baller. With each fallen foe, the daring omnivorous Munchables grow in size and power in their brave struggle.

The Munchables, known in Japan as Tabemon (たべモン), are hungry. They eat a lot, and they eat everything in sight. When Don Onion and his space pirates show up and start causing problems, the planet turns to the Munchables to help. They have to eat to grow big - big enough to beat Don Onion and his eight bosses. To beat them all, they're going to have to be really… really… BIG! Help the Munchables eat everything in their way, like vegetables, fruits, and even chocolates. You'll get bigger and bigger with each bite, but so will your enemies. The gameplay is crazy - once you start eating, you'll never want to stop. Do you have the stomach to save the planet?

The Munchables is capable of using both GameCube controllers and Wii Remotes. If a physical controller is set to emulate both a GameCube Controller and a Wii Remote concurrently, it will operate both devices at the same time. To fix, migrate controls to use separate physical controllers.
