I hope all those getting their hopes up do not have them dashed, who ever is doing this has painted a big target on their backs.It is my sincere hope that seeing as other game developers like Blizzard (vanilla WoW) and Funcom (Anarchy Online 2019 server as launch day state) have brought their games back that NCSoft does the same. Then they can shut this effort down and to be honest most people want to play on official servers without the threat of the servers being shutdown but may be in this case since it is NcSoft that threat may still linger on.I believe seeing the support for this game they would actually seriously consider countering this development without a C&D but with the announcement that they themselves are bringing the game back. Wouldn\'t that be something?

I played way back when diminishing returns on enhancements existed, but none of these \'global\' benefits. I recall (being ill/rad) that I had almost perma hasten & AM; something like only a 15sec gap etc, but I\'m likely misremembering.Problem is, I\'m now playing plant/na; (formerly beast/na, but disliked the lions) which doesnt give me any additional +recharge, like I got from AM back in the day. But nature has some nice buffs that (in theory) would be perma if I can get hasten to be perma, assuming the buff itself is also slotted for recharge, like hasten.(Please take in mind that I\'m speaking from a solo perspective, I understand that I could group with +recharge toons.)So, now it seems the only way to perma hasten, outside of its +70% and then 100%ish from enhancments; is to stack the \'luck of the gambler\' with the global 7.5%.But, I just read about this \'rule of 5s\' which seems to mean that I can only stack LotG 5 times, for a 37.5% added recharge. So, 70% + 100%ish + 37.5% is 207.5% recharge, of 450 seconds becomes about 145 seconds.So 25sec without hasten. That doesn\'t seem that bad; but my brain hurts from trying to determine the math behind my buff/haste recharge times with losing the extra +70% for those 25sec. Heh.My ultimate question, is what am I missing??

Can hasten only be made perma by sets with additional +recharge?? Is their some trick to stacking additional LotG?? By my math, I\'d need to slot 12-14 of them to get pretty much perma haste+nature buffs.that\'s alot more than Five.In gonna assume their is some special high level set bonus I\'m unfamiliar with that MIGHT bridge this gap, (which I\'d appreciate any info on) but if that\'s true, then that means perma haste + buffs cannot really be achieved before late game???Or am I misunderstanding something???TYVM in advance; I hope this thread sheds some light on this subject for other old/new newbs like myself.

Luck of the Gambler is not the only Recharge bonus you can get from IOs. You can get lots of +Recharge from set bonuses.

Here\'s a nice listing: Go to that page and Ctrl+F \'Recharge\' to find sets that give Recharge bonuses. For example, 4 pieces of Basilisk\'s Gaze slotted into a Hold power gives +7.5% Recharge. 5 pieces of Decimation slotted into a single-target ranged attack gives +6.25%.Another source is the Force Feedback: Chance for +Recharge IO. Not every build can make good use of this one, but it is strong if you can trigger it frequently enough.Once you get to endgame and start picking up Incarnate Abilities, Spiritual Alpha is another option:. That kinda sucks. Especially because I\'m pretty sure pets don\'t benefit from recharge; or at least, MM pets dont.

I shelved a necro/kin as soon as I noticed that. (runspeed portion seems to work? But the recharge doesn\'t)So, you may be correct in that it attempts to benefit the pet; but I\'m fairly certain the pet wouldn\'t actually gain from it.Hopefully I can test this at some point; and if it doesn\'t work; I may have to respec the slot into cross punch.

And test it there. I just finished building my plant/martial dominator that has perma hasten. Let me tell you a few of the enhancement sets that I slotted in my primary for the recharge bonuses.Basilisk\'s Gaze (Strangler and Vines)Ragnarok or Gravitational Anchor (Rooted)Coercive Persuasion (Seeds of Confusion)Superior Ascendency of the Dominator (Anything in primary)Expedient Reinforcement(Fly Trap)Fortunata Hypnosis (Spore Burst)I only took spore burst for the sake of slotting it with a purple set. Purples are only 100 merits from vendors or around 20-30 mil each from the auction house. I recommend saving up merits because not many people are selling them at the moment. Just keep on grinding out task forces and veteran levels and you\'ll have enough before you know it.

You can\'t stack 5 of the same name. LotG +7.5% is named LotG +7.5% while the set bonus that gives you a similar amount of recharge is called something like Huge Recharge Bonus, so they have separate quotas of 5. For example, you can stack LotG +Rech with Basilisk\'s Gaze and Mocking Beratement.As a rule of thumb, though, what you said works because set bonuses typically follow the convention where an attribute buffed by some amount is always named the same. LotG +Rech and other enhancements like that usually break the rule, though, because they don\'t give the buff as a set bonus but rather as a uniquely named bonus.
